Valencia CF Academy, third in Spain for players developed in professional football
Valencia CF have 38 players trained at the VCF Academy competing in 49 leagues around the world
The VCF Academy are participating in the World Football Congress which takes place this month; a virtual conference organised by the Coach Football Motion platform present in five continents.
The collaboration from the VCF Academy coaches is a direct one, as they give talks such as that from Urko Cherta -the Head of Methodology. His presentation, 'Training Plan For Footballer: Long Term Learning And Development,' explains the objective of the academy, the identity of their play and defines the profile of the kind of player the VCF Academy look for.
“We have explained our long term road map, the different stages that form the VCF Academy masterplan, and the tools and methodology that are used to progress with the practical side," Cherta says. The VCF Academy was named amongst the CIES Observatory's Top 5 in 2019.
Besides showing their successful working methods, the club use the World Football Congress to gain knowledge of how others operate, accessing talks and interactive content as they look to incorporate every possible benefit for those under their guidance.
